JAZ HOSKEN

Naarm/Melbourne based Actor and Theatre Maker. She/Her. WAAPA Alumni. Strong in physical dramatic roles, comedy, and Shakespeare. Experienced in musical theatre and screen acting.

Jaz Hosken is a 22 year old Actor and Theatre Maker from Naarm/Melbourne. She graduated from The Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) in 2024, completing the Advanced Diploma of Performance (Acting), and the Diploma of Acting in 2022.

With a strong theatre background, she is drawn to physical dramatic roles, comedy, and Shakespeare, with experience in musical theatre and film.

Recent credits include ‘Heather’ in Rachel McMurray’s Testimony, 2024, ‘Tilly’ in Articulate, by Penelope Gordon and Finn Hoegh-Guldberg for the 2025 Perth Fringe Festival, and ‘Sister Catherine’ in CONFESSIONAL by Alice Schlipalius.

Jaz has recently moved back to Melbourne from Perth and is currently Assistant Directing The Importance of Being Earnest with CGTC, alongside Stephen Bennie.

She is also writing her debut play THE MACHINE which will be performed at the Melbourne Fringe Festival this coming October. Jaz will also soon be beginning rehearsals for The Breath of Kings with Burning House Theatre Company showing at Theatre Works this October-November.

Jaz is a fun, enthusiastic person, with a strong work ethic, and outside of acting she loves all things art. In her spare time she loves to be active, see friends, watch the cricket and paint.
