JAZ HOSKEN

Naarm/Melbourne based Actor and Theatre Maker. She/Her. WAAPA Alumni. Strong in physical dramatic roles, comedy, and Shakespeare. Experienced in musical theatre and screen acting.

Jaz Hosken is a 22 year old Actor and Theatre Maker from Naarm/Melbourne. She graduated from The Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) in 2024, completing the Advanced Diploma of Performance (Acting), and the Diploma of Acting in 2022.

With a strong theatre background, she is drawn to physical dramatic roles, comedy, and Shakespeare, with experience in musical theatre and film.

Recent credits include ‘Heather’ in Rachel McMurray’s Testimony, 2024, ‘Tilly’ in Articulate, by Penelope Gordon and Finn Hoegh-Guldberg for the 2025 Perth FringeWorld Festival, and ‘Sister Catherine’ in CONFESSIONAL by Alice Schlipalius.

Jaz has recently moved back to Melbourne from Perth and Assistant Directed The Importance of Being Earnest with Camberwell Grammarian Theatre Company, alongside Stephen Bennie.

She has written her debut play THE MACHINE which she performed at this year’s Melbourne Fringe Festival. Jaz is also rehearsing for The Breath of Kings with Burning House Theatre Company showing at Theatre Works this October-November.

Jaz is a fun, enthusiastic person, with a strong work ethic, and outside of acting she loves all things art. In her spare time she loves to be active, see friends, watch the cricket and paint.
