JAZ HOSKEN

Naarm/Melbourne based Actor and Theatre Maker. She/Her. WAAPA Alumni. Strong in physical dramatic roles, comedy, and Shakespeare. Experienced in musical theatre and screen acting.

Jaz Hosken is a 22 year old Actor and Theatre Maker from Naarm/Melbourne. She graduated from The Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) in 2024, completing the Advanced Diploma of Performance (Acting), and the Diploma of Acting in 2022.

With a strong theatre background, she is drawn to physical dramatic roles, comedy, and Shakespeare, with experience in musical theatre and film.

Recent credits include ‘Prince Edward’ and ‘Rutland’ in Burning House Theatre Company’s The Breath of Kings at Theatre Works, ‘Sister Catherine’ in CONFESSIONAL by Alice Schlipalius, and ‘Tilly’ in Articulate, by Penelope Gordon and Finn Hoegh-Guldberg for the 2025 Perth FringeWorld Festival.

Jaz wrote her debut play THE MACHINE which she performed at the 2025 Melbourne Fringe Festival, and assistant directed The Importance of Being Earnest with Camberwell Grammarian Theatre Company, alongside Stephen Bennie.

Jaz is a fun, enthusiastic person, with a strong work ethic, and outside of acting she loves all things art. In her spare time she loves to be active, see friends, and watch the cricket.
